The European Union is made up out of 28 independent, expensive and inefficient armed forces.
How can politicians justify this in these times of austerity? How can Europeans accept this negligence?
I wrote about that in my blog 15 months ago (in my language, as I use to do). In my opinion, NATO is sort of anachronism from the WWII which has no sense nowadays in a strong, united and politicaly independient Europe. I am not talking about getting mad with the USA, but we should give up being their puppets when talking about military affairs. And in every other topic too, of course.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you! When it comes to European defense, it is best served by a united European defense.
