Developments in Iraq, Syria and Israel-Palestine is terrible and inhuman. We must be able to stand up against the killings, the violence and the assimilation, regardless of whether the victim or the perpetrator is a Christian, a Jew, a Muslim or a victim of political fundamentalism. If we, who live in security and just follow these horrors on the morning news can't see the human suffering for what it is, human suffering, then what hope is there?
